SGS Tool Clinics are a two and a half-day fully-immersive event. Attendees will be instructed using a combination of classroom learning, live tooling demonstrations, case study analysis, and Q&A sessions. Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the KYOCERA-SGS Corporate Campus and Manufacturing Facilities in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Class size is limited and applicants must be approved prior to securing a spot.

Machining Principles Clinic | 3 Days
Day 1 covers the aspects of the machining environment and how integral they are in achieving success.
Day 2, our products are explained and demonstrated live on the machine, showing capabilities and best practices. We also demonstrate our APEX software and how it is utilized to find the ideal tool and set of parameters.
Day 3, a group challenge creates a hands-on experience where attendees choose tools and applications to process a part with a live run-off.
Advanced Applications Clinic | 3 Days
The fundamentals of Machining Principles, including our product overview serves a basis and prerequisite for the Advanced Applications clinic, which extends the hands-on experience with several class and lab exercises and challenges.
After some in-depth machining environment essentials, the training focuses on how best to utilize SGS tooling by getting right into the hands-on exercises and challenges with different workpiece materials, geometry features, and application considerations.
